      🔥 What Is a Fire Hose Reel?

      A fire hose reel is a round drum that holds a hose connected to a water supply.
      When a fire breaks out, it allows you to release and direct a strong stream of water onto the fire — especially useful for wood, paper, cloth, or plastic fires (known as Class A fires).

      You’ll usually find fire hose reels:
      ✅ In hallways or near exit doors
      ✅ In factories and warehouses

      🧯 Step-by-Step: How to Use a Fire Hose During a Fire

      1. Raise the Alarm 🚨
        Always alert people around you and activate the nearest fire alarm or call for help.

      2. Open the Water Valve 💧
        Turn the red valve or lever next to the hose reel to start water flow.

      3. Pull Out the Hose 🧵
        Grab the nozzle, pull out enough hose length, and move toward the fire safely.

      4. Aim at the Base 🎯
        Point the nozzle at the base of the fire (not the flames) — this is where the fire feeds.

      5. Open the Nozzle & Spray 🌊
        Twist the nozzle or lever to release water and sweep side to side to cover the burning area.

      6. Shut Off When Done 📴
        Once the fire is out, turn off the valve and neatly roll the hose back onto the reel.
